Responsibilities
- Conduct User Research: Lead end-to-end user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to uncover user needs and pain points.
- Design Systems: Create and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency across all product touchpoints and speeds up development.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma to visualize concepts and test ideas rapidly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative design solutions.
- Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability tests to validate design decisions and iterate on the product based on user feedback.
- Motion & Interaction: Design micro-interactions and animations that provide clear feedback and enhance the overall user experience.
- Visual Design: Apply a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout to ensure all designs are visually compelling and accessible.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Figma (required) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Portfolio: A strong, up-to-date portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and process.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and using design tools like Jira.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable design insights.
