Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve hardware/software issues with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and VLAN segmentation
- Document network topology and create maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) integration
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical outages
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification (CompTIA Network+ acceptable)
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and Fortinet
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
- Experience with network automation (Python/Ansible)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license (for site visits)
