Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/implement security controls for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure coding practices
- Create executive-level security dashboards and reports
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR roles
- Active CISSP or CISM certification required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and encryption
- Incident response certification (GIAC GCFA preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
