Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct 24/7 SOC monitoring and incident response coordination
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies compliant with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST frameworks
- Lead threat hunting operations using Splunk and Darktrace
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on zero-trust architecture
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/NOC experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of incident resolution (SLA < 4 hours)
