Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers and virtualized environments (VMware/KVM)
- Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for scalability and cost-efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex network issues using Wireshark and network monitoring tools
- Automate administrative tasks using Python/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup systems
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and compliance frameworks
- Certifications: CompTIA Linux+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Experience with monitoring stacks (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and manage competing priorities
