Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Implement and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and incident response for critical systems
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash scripting
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance with security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN), and security protocols
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
