We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Long Beach, CA. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server infrastructure supporting 500+ users
- Architect and optimize cloud environments on AWS/Azure with zero-downtime deployments
- Lead enterprise-level security initiatives including SIEM monitoring and threat remediation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical systems and mentor junior administrators
- Develop disaster recovery plans with RTO/RPO metrics and quarterly testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux/Windows Server
- Expert-level AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise networking
- Proven experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Strong background in compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
