Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Oversee network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and PowerShell for operational efficiency
- Monitor system performance with tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Document system configurations and provide Tier-3 technical support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016+ and Linux environments
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions like Veeam or Rubrik
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
