Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud platforms
- Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize resource utilization
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance audits
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Document system architecture, processes, and runbooks for knowledge transfer
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators during critical incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 and RHEL/CentOS administration
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with IaaS/PaaS implementation experience
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Proven track record of managing hybrid IT environments with 5,000+ endpoints
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
