Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server and Linux infrastructure using Active Directory, VMware, and Kubernetes
- Monitor system performance with Zabbix/Splunk, proactively identifying bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
- Manage Azure/AWS cloud environments including VPCs, IAM policies, and automated scaling solutions
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover testing for critical systems
- Document SOPs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams using Confluence and Lucidchart
- Mentor junior engineers through peer reviews and technical workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise systems in hybrid cloud environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+, and VMware ESXi
- Certified in AWS SysOps or Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Proficient with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Strong background in network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and container orchestration
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with demonstrated incident resolution SLAs
