Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based infrastructure across AWS and Azure
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization environments (VMware vSphere) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible to streamline operational workflows
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute proactive system monitoring using Nagios/Zabbix
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance with NIST and SOC 2 standards
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical systems and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years in system administration)
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Azure Administrator
- Hands-on experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and storage systems (NetApp, Dell EMC)
- Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Bash) and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex hybrid infrastructure environments
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
