Responsibilities
- Design Strategy: Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from wireframing and prototyping to high-fidelity UI mockups.
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and ensure seamless design-to-development handoffs.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs comply with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines to provide inclusive experiences for all users.
- Visual Storytelling: Create compelling visual assets and micro-interactions that enhance user engagement and brand identity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating case studies of successful projects.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, as is experience with prototyping tools like Principle or Framer.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationales to non-technical stakeholders.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing both mobile and web design projects.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify user pain points and propose creative solutions.
