Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud platforms
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise-level networking infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Lead security hardening initiatives and compliance audits (NIST, FISMA)
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to streamline operations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline maintenance
- Document system architecture and create disaster recovery protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency with Active Directory, VMware, and AWS/Azure
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, Linux+, or MCSE preferred)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols and best practices
