Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response procedures including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Perform forensic analysis of security incidents and compile post-mortem reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Certified in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel for occasional on-site duties
