Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments
- Oversee network security protocols and vulnerability management
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructures
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues across hybrid environments
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on automation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expert knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud services and hybrid infrastructure
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to document technical procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
