Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with legal and IT teams during security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and awareness training programs for employees.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security appliances.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
