Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure clouds
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Zabbix and Nagios to prevent outages
- Automate deployment and management with Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead security hardening initiatives and compliance audits (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Provide tier-3 support and technical guidance for complex infrastructure issues
- Document architecture decisions and create operational playbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps, RHCE, MCSE) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis capabilities
