In this role, you will be the backbone of our IT operations, ensuring that our servers, networks, and cloud environments are running at peak performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions that drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of server hardware, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and network components to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS/Azure), including resource provisioning, cost management, and security configurations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the network and systems, acting as the primary escalation point for critical incidents.
- Backup & Recovery: Manage data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical business data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in a hybrid IT environment.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
