Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, firewalls, and data backup strategies to protect company assets.
- Manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing to ensure seamless network operations.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal employees, resolving complex technical inquiries efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems, migrate data, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments (Red Hat/CentOS preferred).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Deep understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and identity management (IAM).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
