Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and remote servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Implement and monitor network security measures, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to end-users and resolve complex IT issues.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and software updates.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
