Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including VPC configuration, IAM policies, and cost optimization
- Implement and monitor security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption) to protect against cyber threats
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response coordination
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain system architecture diagrams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat/CentOS Linux
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
