Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure in AWS and on-premises environments
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning, load balancing, and automation (Ansible/Terraform)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute failover testing for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and root cause analysis
- Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and security policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Strong scripting proficiency (Python/Bash) and configuration management tools
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications required
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
