Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Cloud Integration: Manage cloud migration strategies and day-to-day operations for AWS or Azure environments.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance.
- Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python) to automate routine administrative tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Network Support: Collaborate with network engineers to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
- Backup & Recovery: Lead backup strategies and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or VMware Certified Professional preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
