Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows Server infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewall management and vulnerability scanning
- Lead disaster recovery planning and system backup initiatives
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues and user escalations
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Grafana dashboards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- AWS/Azure certification (or equivalent cloud platform experience)
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash for automation
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- ITIL foundation certification or equivalent process knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for hardware maintenance
