Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/AWS) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Manage user identities and access rights within Active Directory and Identity Management systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
- Conduct regular system audits, software updates, and hardware maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong proficiency in managing Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Firewalls.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
