Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and virtualization environments.
- Manage and monitor cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to ensure high availability and performance optimization.
- Ensure data security and compliance by enforcing robust access controls and conducting regular security audits.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving complex hardware and software issues.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Document all system configurations, processes, and changes to maintain accurate technical records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration within a Windows and Linux environment.
- Proficient knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
