Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Proactively monitor system health and optimize performance across 500+ endpoints
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular backup testing
- Lead cross-functional projects for system upgrades and migrations
- Document IT processes and create knowledge base articles
- Mentor junior administrators and provide tier-3 technical support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and customer service mindset
