Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex system architectures for both on-premise servers and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Enforce enterprise-level security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management (Active Directory).
- Proactively monitor system performance, health, and availability, responding to incidents with minimal downtime.
- Automate repetitive tasks and deployments using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Manage user access, permissions, and identity governance across the organization.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell).
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus.
