Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure including VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
- Automate administrative tasks and workflows using Python and Bash scripting to improve efficiency.
- Oversee cloud migration strategies and day-to-day operations on AWS and Azure.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution to minimize downtime during critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
