Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premise infrastructures
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Oversee network administration (Cisco/Juniper) and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and capacity management
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and monitor system performance
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Document procedures and provide Tier-3 technical support
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux
- Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Security knowledge including SIEM tools and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
