Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Handle backup/DR procedures and disaster recovery testing
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document procedures and provide Tier-3 support escalation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- AWS/Azure certification or equivalent cloud platform experience
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and incident management expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
