Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and monitor on-premise servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Ensure system security compliance and perform regular vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and applications.
- Oversee network configuration and hardware lifecycle management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Expertise in scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCSA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
