Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot critical incidents, and implement proactive security measures
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation tools and DevOps practices
- Document IT processes, create runbooks, and maintain system documentation
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and resource management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and company policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019)
- Proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu/CentOS) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Valid US driver's license and ability to work on-call rotation
