Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk, resolving incidents within SLAs
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible/Terraform and optimize resource utilization
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (Firewall, VPN)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) services
- Ability to work on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents
