Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource utilization
- Oversee backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery planning
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and documentation for IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and automation projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
