Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Windows servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, vulnerability scans, and compliance frameworks (SOC2/ISO 27001)
- Automate system tasks using Python/Ansible and monitor performance with Nagios/Zabbix
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system upgrades with zero downtime
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization and container orchestration
- Document infrastructure architecture and create SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent) required
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
- Strong background in network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning in high-traffic environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
