Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, access controls, and vulnerability assessments
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues with minimal downtime
- Automate deployment and configuration management using Ansible/Puppet
- Oversee backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with network and security teams for integrated solutions
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) and automation tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
