Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Monitor system performance using Splunk, Nagios, and Grafana dashboards
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services for 500+ endpoints
- Collaborate with security team on vulnerability scanning and compliance (NIST, PCI-DSS)
- Document procedures and create runbooks for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification preference
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash for automation tasks
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP) or equivalent experience
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus) and log aggregation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis methodology
