Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce robust security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect organizational data.
- Cloud Integration: Manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and ensure seamless migration and hybrid cloud integration.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- User Support & Training: Provide advanced Tier 3 technical support and conduct training sessions for end-users regarding best practices.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and conduct regular backups to ensure business continuity.
- Network Administration: Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent certifications are required.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Scripting: Advanced knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
- Active Directory: Extensive experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and Azure AD.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
