Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure in AWS and hybrid cloud environments
- Manage enterprise-level networking, security protocols, and backup/recovery systems
- Lead virtualization projects using VMware and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
- Provide Tier-3 support and automation using Python/Ansible for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Document systems architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures
- Mentor junior staff and conduct regular system health assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation experience with Ansible
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification required
- Proven track record in implementing security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
