Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning on-premise data centers and AWS/Azure environments
- Implement and optimize enterprise-level security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management systems
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Automate operational workflows using Python/PowerShell and configuration management tools (Ansible/Terraform)
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior administrators through knowledge sharing sessions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and ELK Stack
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Proven experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik) and storage area networks (SAN/NAS)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience in complex system diagnostics
