Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security protocols
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems
- Automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible or Terraform
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and security best practices
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Certifications (AWS/Azure, CompTIA Server+, or similar) preferred
