Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud platforms
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and access management
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and PowerShell scripting
- Document IT infrastructure changes and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu/CentOS administration
- Certification in CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure AZ-104 preferred
- Strong experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and switching technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Advanced scripting capabilities in PowerShell and Bash
