Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments in AWS and on-premise data centers
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk, resolving incidents proactively
- Manage identity/access systems including Active Directory and Okta
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Document infrastructure and create runbooks for operational excellence
- Lead disaster recovery testing and security compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or Linux/Windows administration preferred
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) a plus
- Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation
