Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across 500+ endpoints
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance tuning
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs for operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise networking
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Proficient in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM frameworks and ticketing systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize critical incidents
