Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure management, including AWS or Azure maintenance.
- Provide Tier 3 support and technical guidance to junior staff and end-users.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Strong proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
- Certification preferred: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on network latency and hardware diagnostics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
