Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers in AWS and Azure environments
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Automate administrative tasks using Python/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and incident response
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud migration and scalability projects
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Proven incident management and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during critical system deployments
