Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Execute disaster recovery protocols and cybersecurity measures to ensure data integrity
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain configuration databases
- Provide tier-3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, VMware, and Azure/AWS environments
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong scripting abilities with PowerShell/Bash
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules
