As a key member of our operations team, you'll ensure 99.9% uptime for our critical systems while implementing best practices in security and performance optimization. This hybrid role offers flexibility with 2 remote days per week and on-site collaboration in our modern Atlantic Avenue facility.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate system monitoring using tools like Nagios and ELK Stack for proactive issue resolution
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services for 500+ endpoints
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execute system backups with RTO/RPO compliance
- Lead cloud migrations to AWS/Azure with emphasis on cost optimization and scalability
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, RHCSA)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS implementations
- ITIL foundation certification or equivalent service management experience
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within 90 days of hire
