Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructure including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms
- Manage virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Overcome network security challenges and implement robust cybersecurity protocols
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) and automation experience
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure) or hands-on experience
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and storage systems
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent knowledge
